Locally Created Vodka Makes Splash at Big E

New this year at the Big E - the Martin-E bar, featuring a premium vodka that hits close to home.

The man behind martini is V One vodka creator Paul Kozub of Hadley. Hewas inspired by generations to create the perfect vodka. "My father was an entrepreneur, my grandfather used to tell me stories about making moonshine during prohibition and the day my grandfather passed away in 2003, it just kind of inspired me to put the two together," Kozub said.

Paul went from experimenting in his basement to perfecting recipes in Poland. "From the beginning my goal was to have the world's smoothest vodka, the world's most drinkable vodka, really the last recipe I tried, I feel like I achieved that," he said.

It was a recipe for success. Released just one year ago, V One is now sold at more 300 stores across the commonwealth. It was rated among the top vodkas in the world by two national publications.

But the real rave reviews come from those drinking V One at the MartiniE bar here at the Big E. From the Big E signature martini to the classic with an olive, V One's making a splash - and Paul couldn't be more proud, "The two weeks I've been at the Big E has been one of the best experiences of my career with V One."
